From Megan Ginete '07

Dearest Mr. Ben Gibbard,

How are things? Well as for me my life is boring because the place I live in ( Rosemead ), is somewhat boring!!!! You were introduced to me, by my very close friend Matt Drange, your number one fan. When I first started to listen to your music I was at the point at life where I lost all hope. But by listening to your music, you made me not give up at all, you made me strong. When I had a bad day I would always listen to I’ll follow you in the dark and lack of color. Ben Gibbard, you made me not give up on things I longed for. Now as I listen to Such Great Heights I think of Prom and how things will be. How my life will probably change after you come and sing for us. If you come to our prom and sing for the kids who deserve to see you after how much we look up to you, you will make my senior prom, my very last prom UNFORGETTABLE. Like my twin Matt Drange said ‘You only get one prom so make it unforgettable.’

Sincerely,
Megan Ginete
