Dear The Great and Wonderful Mister Ben Gibbard,

First and foremost, I just wanted to praise you and your music for its deep influence upon the lives of many. Your music has helped me get through many tough events in my life such as the loss of my beloved Lucky to the hectic and spine-snapping planning of our great 2007 prom at Universal Studios Hollywood. Not to be corny or anything, but I truly do love your music because it strikes a chord within my heart. Actually I'd rather call your music a form of lyrical art. I CRY with emotions when I see your album cover. Well, okay maybe not cry but I feel emotional. That's not corny, rather a bit cheesy, well nevertheless I LOVE YOUR MUZAK.

Well, the main point of us posting all these comments are in hopes that someday, hopefully before our prom, you will read this and laugh at us. Then maybe respond to us, just maybe, but if you don't we will all still love you. It would be great, no actually wonderful if you could appear at our 2007 prom. The theme of our prom, "Such Great Heights" is centered on your song and its lyrics. Even our invitations have a puzzle piece design on the front. Well, I was just wondering if you could find some time in your busy schedule to make any small impression or appearance so that our prom will truly be memorable and it will be a prom of great height. Prom is already a memorable event in a person's life and it would be extremely super duper great if you could just do this one favor. I don't want to be too pushy or too much of a beggar but, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE times sixteen bazillion with a cherry on top and some other preferred fruit toppings.
