Having attended Rosemead High School for the past few years, I am now a Junior and nothing extraordinary has exactly happened. Usually, people criticize and simply say, “oh, prom?” But, this year, prom is coming up, and we have a big dream.
During ASB senate meetings, I realize the time and effort that our Junior Class cabinet has put towards making this year's prom great. Their creative ideas for fundraising and donations enable us to have our prom at a fascinating site, and I deeply appreciate their dedication. Reaching out to the entire school, Rosemead High School students are motivated to attend fundraisers due to the idea of an unforgettable prom. We all have ONE big goal, that big dream is for you to play at our prom. For me, I see this year’s prom to be the best thing that will happen to any Rosemead High student if you can attend. Not only will you make our prom great, but more than half the school attending will have the chance to reminisce upon your appearance and your performance of the renowned song, “Such Great Heights.” Our Class of 2008 Cabinet has really done a great job, and with you attending this year’s prom, each and every one of us will be deeply grateful. If I could reach you personally, I would literally kneel down and plead for you to perform. But unfortunately, I cannot, and I hope that by writing this letter, you will consider performing at our prom.
Sincerely,
Jenny Kan ’08.
