Dear Mr. Ben Gibbard,

As you can see, the students, including myself, at Rosemead High School, are begging you to come and play a song or two at our prom. And as you already probably know, the theme of our prom is one of your very own songs, “Such Great Heights” Our school is probably just like every other school, work hard all year then have the best night of our high school career at prom. An appearance by you would make our prom night even more memorable than the 2008 Class Cabinet has already tried their very best to do. Now I can go on and on about how much I love your songs, but I won’t. I could also go on and on about how many students love you, but again I won’t. I would just like you to know, that it would mean the world to us students of Rosemead High School if you just could mark your calendar and make an appearance at our prom this year.
